Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and Snowflake-certified Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Snowflake architecture, data modeling, and pipeline development, along with a strong understanding of cloud data ecosystems and enterprise data integration.
Key Responsibilities
◼ Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Snowflake.
◼ Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and performance-optimized queries.
◼ Integrate Snowflake with various data sources, APIs, and enterprise platforms.
◼ Ensure data quality, governance, and security across all data workflows.
◼ Collaborate with data analysts, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver reliable data solutions.
◼ Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance, storage, and compute usage.
◼ Automate data workflows using orchestration tools like Airflow or dbt.
◼ Maintain documentation for data architecture, processes, and standards.
Desired Experience & Qualification
◼ Candidates should have a B.E./B.Tech/MCA/MBA in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field
◼ 6–8 years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years on Snowflake.
◼ Snowflake certification (SnowPro Core or Advanced).
◼ Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and cloud data architecture.
◼ Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt).
◼ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git).
◼ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
◼ Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
◼ Exposure to BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
◼ Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance standards.
◼ Experience in financial services, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
◼ Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
◼ Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and provide clear updates.
◼ Must possess good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
