Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Salesforce QA Engineer with Automation experience to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and hands-on experience in designing and executing both manual and automated test strategies. He/ She will play a key role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of Salesforce applications, including custom development, integrations, and third-party tools.
Key Responsibilities
◼ Analyze business and technical requirements to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.
◼ Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing for Salesforce applications including Sales Cloud,
Service Cloud, and/or Financial Services Cloud (FSC).
◼ Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as:
– Selenium WebDriver
– Provar
– TestNG/JUnit
– Apex test classes
◼ Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or REST Assured.
◼ Validate Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex classes, flows, and integrations.
◼ Collaborate with developers, admins, and business analysts to ensure test coverage and resolve defects.
◼ Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps.
◼ Maintain test data and environments for consistent and repeatable test execution.
◼ Document test results, log defects, and track them to closure using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
◼ Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
◼ Evaluate and ensure quality of deliverables within project timelines
◼ Ensure effective, efficient, and continuous communication (written and verbally) with global stakeholders
◼ Responsible for end-to-end delivery of projects, coordination between client and internal offshore teams and manage client queries
◼ Demonstrate high attention to detail, should work in a dynamic environment whilst maintaining high quality standards, a natural aptitude to develop good internal working relationships and a flexible work ethic
◼ Responsible for Quality Checks and adhering to the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) / Turn Around Time
(TAT)
Desired Experience & Qualification
◼ Candidates should have a B.E./B.Tech/MCA/MBA in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field
◼ 5–7 years of experience in QA/testing, with at least 2–3 years in Salesforce testing.
◼ Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and security model.
◼ Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python).
◼ Experience testing Salesforce Lightning Experience and LWC components.
◼ Familiarity with Salesforce APIs and integration testing.
◼ Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools.
◼ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
◼ Excellent communication and documentation skills.
