Job Description
This role is accountable for driving regional revenue and volume growth while strengthening the organization’s market position. The focus is on building a sustainable distribution ecosystem and accelerating demand generation through strong market execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end regional sales performance across primary, secondary, and tertiary channels, ensuring consistent topline growth.
- Lead and mentor a multi-layered sales structure comprising Business Managers, Area Sales Managers, Territory Executives, and frontline associates.
- Conceptualize and implement impactful market activation and sell-out strategies to enhance brand visibility and customer pull.
- Strategically manage product portfolio and assortment planning to maximize margins and profitability.
- Cultivate a high-performance culture anchored in accountability, ownership, and measurable outcomes.
- Drive structured talent management practices including hiring, capability development, coaching, and succession planning.
- Strengthen partnerships with key distributors, large dealers, contractors, and other trade influencers.
- Enhance demand planning accuracy and ensure optimal inventory control across the channel network.
- Ensure rigorous adherence to defined sales processes and performance-linked incentive frameworks.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience within well-established, performance-driven organizations.
- Background in consumer-centric industries such as building materials, surface solutions, paints, hardware, or allied categories.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in dynamic, evolving market environments and lead teams through complexity.
- Deep understanding of contractor and influencer ecosystems with the ability to convert insights into growth opportunities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial acumen and a passion for scaling business performance.
- High energy, self-motivation, and strong people leadership skills with the ability to inspire and engage teams.
